The conference also featured a dedicated roundtable session, in collaboration with Publishers Without Borders (PWB), on the 35th International Publishers Congress set for Kuala Lumpur from 5–9 July 2026. Mr. Sheikh Faisal Sheikh Mansor, President of the Malaysian Book Publishers Association (MABOPA), was also present, actively promoting the Kuala Lumpur gathering and encouraging regional participation.
Later in the week, at the Sharjah International Book Fair, IPA member the Emirates Publishers Association hosted a meeting that brought together the International Publishers Association (IPA), the Arab Publishers Association, and regional Arab publishing unions to discuss key challenges in the publishing sector and strengthen communication between Arab and international institutions.
The meeting reflected ongoing commitment to fostering professional support and building partnerships that empower the publishing industry regionally and globally.
