In March, Pienkoss and Anta met with senior representatives of the UNESCO Secretariat as well as leaders of the EdTech sector who were setting up an Alliance of Alliances. Predictably there was much discussion about the impact of digitization and especially AI on global education. The IPA took the opportunity to remind those attending the meeting that the cornerstone to any system of education is the quality of the content it delivers. And it is professional publishers who can be relied upon to best produce and distribute that content.
Pienkoss, Anta and Borghino also met with Camille Labat and Agnès Botrel, from the French member of the EPF, Les Éditeurs d’Éducation.
