On World IP Day, WIPO and IPA launched the data collection process for the 2017 survey, hoping to build on the promising foundations laid by the 2016 pilot survey. The pilot survey succeeded in gathering data from 35 countries. The target of this year’s survey is to increase that number and improve the comparability of the data from different markets. The results of the survey will be published before the end of the year.
