The meeting welcomed a new Chair and Vice-Chair with Stephan de Valk (GEU, The Netherlands) and Brian Gilsenan (CJ Fallon, Ireland) taking over from Wilmar Diepgrond and Jaume Vicens, after highly successful three-year terms.
The online meeting brought together 57 participants from 40 countries from Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia — a new record for EPF meetings. The participants took stock of how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected educational publishers around the world and discussed the future strategy for the Forum under its new leadership. The next couple of years will feature an exciting program of meetings (both physical, COVID permitting, and virtual), other events and reports.
