Entitled “European Accessibility Act (EAA) – An Overview of Publishing Industry Standards for E-Books, E-Commerce Platforms, and Accessibility Metadata and Their Compliance with EAA Requirements,” this educational session will delve into the European Accessibility Act (EAA) requirements relevant to the publishing industry, specifically focusing on e-books, e-commerce websites and apps, and the provision of accessibility information to end-users. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the standards that the publishing industry has adopted for ensuring compliance with the EAA. 

The main presenters for the webinar will be Gregorio Pellegrino, Chief Accessibility Officer at Fondazione LIA, and Chiara De Martin, Web Accessibility Expert at Fondazione LIA.
