The 34th International Publishers Congress, held from the 3-5 December 2024 in Guadalajara Mexico closed with an official declaration of commitments and the announcement of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as the host of the 35th Congress in 2026.
Palestinian publisher Samir Mansour awarded the 2024 International Publishers Association’s Prix Voltaire at the award ceremony of the 34th International Publishers Congress in Guadalajara, Mexico. The IPA also announced a Prix Voltaire Special Award for murdered Ukrainian author, Victoria Amelina.
